Joeys to Rovers out on the water
We’ve had a busy few weeks out on the water with Scouts of all ages having fun.
We had Joey Scouts come down to try canoeing and practice swimming and floating in their PFDs – Personal Floatation Devices. It’s important to provide young people with opportunities to become familiar with wearing PFDs to help reduce panic during an emergency.
Later in the day, we had Rover Scouts from Orange and Normanhurst zoding and sailing around Sydney Harbour. It was great to see them having fun and expanding their skills.
